About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll support accurate and timely payroll processing while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This is an ideal opportunity for an organized professional who thrives behind the scenes, enjoys working with numbers, and plays a critical role in supporting employees and leadership.



What You'll Do as a Payroll Support Specialist

  • Assist with processing weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
  • Review timecards, commissions, bonuses, and deductions for accuracy
  • Maintain employee payroll records and update changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments)
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local wage and labor laws
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with HR and accounting to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll audits, tax filings, and year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s)
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in payroll, HR, or accounting support preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and timekeeping software (experience preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
